The Helicopter Trousers have pleats at the front and minimal gathers at the back give to give a sleek look without the need for a zip. Note if purchasing copy shop printing: Some pattern pieces are divided across two A0 sheets. The sheets will need to be joined with no overlap.
Suggested fabrics: From floaty georgette to crisp linen, soft cotton to slinky silk/viscose velvet, this pattern makes up well in all sorts of fabric. Once you make one you'll want lots more for every season and occasion!
Fabric requirements: Based on 140 cm wide fabric, for both top and trousers you will need 190 cm (2 yd) for sizes 8 - 10, or 3 m (3 1/3 yd) for sizes 12 - 18. If you have narrower fabric, you will need 3 m (3 1/3 yd) for all sizes.
Sizing: UK 8 - 18. Please check the size chart.
Notions: Top: small button for back fastening // Trousers: wide elastic (at least 4 cm/1 1/2") in a complementary colour to your fabric, the length of your waist 4 cm (1 1/2") overlap.
