Will Da Costa is a multi-disciplinary artist from Manchester, UK. His practice explores graphic design, illustration and fine art, blending traditional and digital techniques. He first established himself as a designer through his roots in the underground club and rave scene working with DJs and promoters throughout the country and becoming the resident designer of Manchester’s renowned nightclub Soup (Kitchen).
Da Costa’s work is characterised by his use of bold colours, often inspired by surrealism and reflects the pop culture of the 2000s/10s and the themes of migration from analogue to digital and how it has affected the way we live and communicate in today's world. Da Costa has had the opportunity to showcase his work in several exhibitions and galleries in both the UK and Europe.
Currently, Will is exploring new digital techniques including the possibilities afforded by 3D and AI and also returning to his fine art roots through traditional painting.
